GRATE CHEF® STEAMING GRILL BRUSH
Utilizes Steam for Easier Cleaning

ATLANTA – Grate Chef® is bettering the world of barbeque with another innovative grilling accessory that evokes the same “oohs” and “ahhs” that a Japanese steakhouse does: the Grate Chef® Steaming Grill Brush.
The Grate Chef® Steaming Grill Brush is a one-of-a-kind, reusable brush that works on any type of grill grate. The brush employs a process developed by Grate Chef to easily clean grill grates and restore them back to new by controlling the release of water through stainless steel bristles while scrubbing a hot grill grate to produce steam-cleaning action. Unlike most grill brushes that retain buildup and need to be replaced each year, Grate Chef’s brush lasts through several grilling seasons and can be used with Grate Chef® Grill Wipes to condition the grill grate for no-stick grilling.
“We designed the grill brush to allow the user to regulate the amount of water that is released onto a hot grill grate, which creates grime-busting steam and the bristles do the rest,” said Mike Griffin, co-founder of Grate Chef, LLC. “As a result, Grate Chef’s unique process makes cleanup easier, all without having to take apart the grill or use chemicals.”
There are three easy steps to using the Grate Chef® Steaming Grill Brush:

  1. Fire up the grill and get it hot, above 300 degrees Fahrenheit. Fill the body of the brush with tap water.
  2. While scrubbing the grill grates press the button on the handle for control releases of water to produce instant steam.
  3. You are ready to cook on a clean grill grate.

Also, Grate Chef® Grill Wipes enhance the effect of the Grate Chef® Steaming Grill Brush, helping to condition the grill grate so foods don’t stick to the cooking surface. An optional fourth step includes placing a Grill Wipe onto the grate and, using the brush, wiping the surface until a coating of oil is seen on the cleaned grate. Cooking on a clean, well-oiled grill grate is how restaurants achieve those distinct, delineated grill marks on meats and vegetables.
The Grate Chef® Steaming Grill Brush retails for $19.99 (MSRP) and lasts for three to four grilling seasons. The brush is available for purchase in grocery, hardware and specialty stores nationwide and online at www.gratechef.com.
Grate Chef products are sold nationwide in grocery stores (Kroger, Giant Supermarkets, Marsh Supermarkets, Meijer, Publix, Safeway, Supervalu and Wegman’s); hardware stores (Ace Hardware, Home Depot and Lowe’s); and specialty stores. Grate Chef also distributes internationally in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Italy, Mexico and New Zealand.
Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Dacula, Georgia, Grate Chef’s vision is to provide convenient and unique grilling accessories to the everyday, backyard griller. For more information, visit www.gratechef.com or call 877-900-8415.

GRATE FRIENDS

“Thank you for the replacement brush I received so promptly. The steaming action on this brush works very well and I would not hesitate to recommend this product to my friends.
I am also using the grill wipes I purchased and now wish I had both of your products when my grill was new. With the amount of carbon built up on my grates even after I use the steaming brush the oil pads become extremely black and messy, I think they apply the oil satisfactorily and make cooking easier. Does this product come in larger packages? Living in Florida we grill out several times a week year round and will go through the 6 pack grill wipes in a week or two.
Best wishes for your continued success with your company.”
